About NNOIG
Retningslinjer
Norwegian Neuro-Oncology Interest Group (NNOIG) has existed for several years, however, the group was not formally established before May 2022. The board consists of oncologists from all of Norway and NNOIG arrange two yearly national neuro-oncology meetings.
The board consists of the following (as of September 2026)
Petter Brandal (OUS, Chair), Hanne Blakstad (OUS, Treasurer), Line Bjorland (SUS, Secretary), and Board Members Jorunn Brekke (HUS), Tor-Christian Aase Johannessen (HUS), Tora Solheim (St. Olavs Hospital), Kirsten Marienhagen (UNN), Øyvind Holsbø Hald (UNN), Jozsef Lovey (OUS), Henriette Magelssen (OUS), Mette Sprauten (OUS), Liv Cathrine Heggebø (OUS), Silje Gunnestad (Bodø), and Tom Børge Johannesen (Cancer Registry of Norway), all oncologists, as well as Anette Storstein (neurologist, HUS), Ole Solheim (neurosurgeon, St. Olavs Hospital), Astri Andersgaard (neuroradiologist, OUS), and Pitt Niehusmann (neuropathologist, OUS).
The Board’s Executive Committee consists of Petter Brandal, Hanne Blakstad, and Line S. Bjorland.
